TEACHING HOUSE CELTA SCHEDULE

(The following times are PM unless otherwise noted.)

Intensive Full-time Course:

For the Full-Time Course, times are 9:00 am – 5:30pm, Monday – Friday. The course is four weeks long.

The Part-Time Course is four months long. Sessions are between 9:00 am and 2:30 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, including teaching practice

The 4-week course is very intensive and requires a full-time commitment. In addition to class time, you can expect to spend a part of most evenings and at least one day over the weekend working independently on lesson planning and course assignments. Cambridge ESOL recommends dedicating a minimum of 20-25 hours a week outside of the course to this work. 100% attendance is required. Employment during the course and very long commutes are strongly discouraged. A clear schedule for four weeks is the best approach to take.

You should also have good physical, mental and emotional health in order to be able to cope with the rigorous demands of CELTA certification and the workload placed on you.
